After watching Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre, have a meal at Leeds Fisheries. You can always degust perfectly cooked cod, fish & chips and haddock - a special offer of this fast food. It's nice to order delicious coffee.

At Leeds Fisheries, you can get a takeaway. The high ratings of this place wouldn't be possible without the creative staff. Spectacular service is something that visitors note in their comments. Here you will pay reasonable prices. There is lovely atmosphere at this spot, as clients see it. But many people who use Google didn't grant this fast food a high rating.

The food tasted nice but very very small. The upsetting part of this is we have come to this fish and chips restaurant many times over the years for takeaway and sit in and on this occasion we sat in. We asked the waitress whether the juice was fresh orange juice that we had asked for as it tasted strange and very watered down (more like cordial). They looked at us like we were speaking a different language. So when it came to the bill we asked again and then all the staff started yelling at us and telling us it was fresh and when they finally showed us the carton it was an orange drink not fresh fruit juice. They even yelled at us saying 'don't come back' this was very upsetting to find a place we enjoyed could now have such awful spoken staff. What ever happened to the customer is always right. They did admit that they couldn't get the fresh fruit juice as there was none at the cash and carry, so please tell me why they argued about it when they knew it was the wrong thing. We ended up paying for who knows what as we never got the bill and just wanted it to end so paid and left. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Happened upon Leeds Fisheries as we were exploring away from the sea front for a fish and chip shop for our lunch. There were 8 of us in our party and thought we would struggle to get in and sit together. However, the lovely lady taking orders in the upstairs restaurant managed to find us a 6 and a 2. The haddock and chips were beautiful, served with a very short wait and excellent value for money. Will certainly be returning here on our next visit to Scarborough. Parking: Parking nearby on Scarborough sea front if you can get in, but failing that there are car parks dotted all around the resort. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Recommended dishes: Haddock and Chips

I visited recently. I was surprised because the staff had plenty of jewelry and makeup. After handling cash they did not use any hand sanitizer and head covering.
