First of all, the girl at the counter was very friendly and patient, and the person preparing the food (owner?) seemed to really care about his craft and he checked with us about the flavor of the food. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce. The roast beef was perfectly cooked and sliced to a thickness that maximizes the flavor of the meat. I absolutely savored every bite of that sandwich. No short-cuts here - everything wss high-quality and prepared expertly. I would have to say this is a must-try if you are in Ellsworth. We stopped tonight and were so surprised at how good the food was! We got the green monster, all the veggies were super fresh, the bread makes it a little hard to keep it together but we made it work. We also had a bacon steak, and that was so delicious, cooked perfectly. The bacon was awesome. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the cheese sauce on the tots, but that’s personal opinion. Legends is so good. Everything i have gotten from here has been delicious. And their home made fries are just yummy delicious. If you haven't tried it I highly suggest it.
