We were in Lisbon for 7 days and our flat was right around the corner from the Aviz. On our first day we went there for breakfast. We really liked it - for one thing espresso, croissant, pastel de nata and ham-and-cheese toast were very good. But also we really enjoyed people being so nice there. So we decided to go there for dinner as well, since the Aviz was also on the recommendation list from our host. And again we really appreciated the good food ( I had spare ribs, my wife a cod fish, milk rice as a desert and of course a port wine as digestif). And although communication was very limited by language, the service was so nice and friendly that we kept coming back for three times. We saw many other tourists doing the same :-), but also many locals. It is a family run place for ages and they manage to create a very warm atmosphere and maintain a good service and high quality at very reasonable prices.
