Authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry for extremely cheap (approx 450lkr). They also make fresh roti and hoppers. Two of the four curries were too spicy for me but that just shows it was truly local cuisine. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: Rs 1–1,000

We had an amazing experience at Lemon Tree Kandy! The restaurant gave us a true taste of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, beautifully presented and full of rich, local flavors. The rice and curry spread was generous and delicious – each dish had its own unique taste, from the creamy dhal to the perfectly spiced vegetables and flavorful meat curries. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of love. The presentation was also wonderful, with a touch of creativity that made the meal feel extra special. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for enjoying traditional food in comfort. The staff were warm, attentive, and happy to explain the different dishes, which made the whole experience even better.
