I kindly advise any reader to NEVER step a foot at Lennon, especially if you will have to deal with the disrespectful bartender i had to face today.

Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a pub!! I’ve never met such an impolite, childish, disrespectful staff in my whole life of going to pubs, and I will detail my story:

Today, I was drinking a Hendricks, and I had activated Zomato gold.
The waiter comes to us and tells us it is happy hour, and I ask him about zomato gold, he said that the zomato gold is equivalent to the happy hour.
The zomato gold being 2+2 drinks, means that you get 50% off the drinks, by all mathematical logic.

But, zomato gold is activated, which means it is my right to get it.

When the bill comes, i find out that there was 25% on the Hendricks, and I asked the waiter why, and that he should have explained to me that it is not 50% on all the drinks. I was still being so nice and the waiter was being polite as well.

But here comes the impolite bartender who ruined the whole experience...
When he sees the waiter and I arguing (still in a friendly way), he comes and asks what’s wrong.
With such a bad attitude and disrespect, he starts arguing that no place does 50% on Hendricks, as it is a premium drink. I told him that if I was on Zomato gold, i would have gotten that complimentary drink that was as if I had 50%.

He kept RAISING his voice, speaking in a very bad attitude, then took the bill right from my hand in a brutal way, and starts hitting on his computer while talking in a rude way to other waiters.

He cones back with 2 bills - a WRONG zomato gold bill (where he removed 1 drink instead of 2 - while we drank 4 drinks) - and the original happy hour bill.

While i didnt realize that the zomato gold bill was wrong, he told me in a violent way how i would have paid less with the original bill, and then while i was looking at the original bill, he AGAIN TOOK IT VIOLENTLY RIGHT FROM MY HAND, and he told me “you will pay the expensive one”.

What the hell???
How is this behavior even acceptable!!!!

Even if he could have been right, this is not the way to treat the customers.

NEVER stepping my foot back there, and I advise anyone to stay away from that rude and aggressive bartender!!!

Hello, I would like to clarify that the management apologizing on the spot or on zomato without doing any actions doesn't compensate for the way I was treated by the bartender. Even though you mentioned that "severe actions" were taken; those actions were not seen by the customer. What I saw then is that the management just said sorry without doing anything. The least the management could do given the situation was to return the two bills to the client, explaining the differences to them with numbers. In that case, me and the manager would have noticed that on top of the impolite behavior of this bartender, he also gave me a wrong bill that would be more expensive that the happy hour bill - and I would have paid either bill. You say issues like that were never faced, and I'd like to say that I have never faced such a behavior from a bartender, and such a useless apology from the manager with no next actions. Again, as I mentioned to the manager there, it is not about the amount to be paid, but just about the concept. If the waiter said that happy hour = zomato gold, it means 50% on the drinks. It should be clarified to the client that happy hour price is variant depending on what you drink.
