Our experience at this restaurant was seriously affected by a practice that we consider not transparent and that violates consumer rights. We requested a glass of wine, the price of which was clearly indicated on the menu provided. However, upon receiving the bill, we were charged a considerably higher amount, corresponding to the more expensive glass of wine. When expressing our disagreement, the establishment's staff claimed that the correct price appeared in the other letter. This justification is unacceptable, since the information presented to the customer in the letter delivered at the time of placing the order is binding in accordance with consumer regulations and the principle of transparency. At our insistence, no satisfactory solution was offered to us. We were forced to request and fill out a complaint form, since the restaurant refused to respect the price initially indicated. These types of situations not only generate frustration, but also affect confidence in the management of the establishment. We recommend that the restaurant review its internal procedures to ensure consistency in prices and appropriate treatment of customers.
