The food was delicious and the atmosphere so lovely. The food arrived very quickly. I have celiac and there were some wonderful options. I didn’t ask about gluten free pasta, though other reviews have noted this is an option. Allergies are labeled on the menu. I had a tuna dish with mashed beans/chickory and the best spinach I’ve ever had. Service was very good. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

We heard great things about the cacio e pepe at Ar Monte Testaccio and the restaurant definitely delivered. Now I understand what homemade pasta should taste like! It is definitely worth leaving the city center and heading into the Testaccio neighborhood to get an authentic Italian dining experience. Christian and Mauro welcomed us and treated us to the best lunch we had in all of Rome. Pair your meal with a bottle of Roma Malvasia Puntinata for the most traditional experience. So, so good!
