I happened to pass by this area and I saw Li yuan restaurant. I stopped by to take a look at their menu, they specialise in making xiao long bao. It was dinner hour and the restaurant was very crowded. I waited for 10 minutes and was given a table. I didn't have high expectations for the food. However, I was very impressed when I took the first bite of their xiao long bao. The saltiness and sweetness of the meat broth was just right. The pork was delicious. Excellent dumpling dinner at Li Yuan, though we arrived around 6pm and had to wait 1.5 hours before being seated. We ordered the classic Xialongbao, the crab meat soup dumplings and the beef pancake roll. We also added 2 custard buns for desert. Everything was excellent, I'd really recommend going here but showing up early. Write your name and number of guests and then wait until you get called. Great soup dumplings especially their xiao loong bao. Beef wraps are good too. Their pumpkin black sesame dumplings are amazing. Often crowded. On this Sunday, there were 3 groups of people waiting in line in front of us. To reserve a table, we wrote our name and the number of people on the reservation list posted outside the front door.
