dam they closed? disappointed. I eventually stopped going there after like 2 times b/c. They weren't as tasty as the first time. The ingredients weren't consistent, sometimes there's a good amount of certain toppings, sometimes very little. Couldn't keep it consistent. This one time i went there, i swear they kept saying "we're out of this or out of that" when i tried to order like half of the items on the menu but i went there at the beginning of opening hours that day. I swear it felt like someone came to work late and didn't prepare anything but wouldn't admit it. customer service was great first time, but not the rest. again consistency.

Without a warning. This isn't a food spot anymore.

We were at the emergency vet in San Leandro and while we were waiting, found ourselves absolutely starving, and craving comfort food. It's often hard to find a cheesesteak shop that A. Makes an authentic Philly style cheesesteak, B. Offers a chicken cheesesteak, C. Delivers on the bread. Licensed 2 Grill hit on all 3. Their rolls are similar to the French rolls used in a good Banh Mi. Close enough to Amoroso's out of Philly. Their Warrior Cheesesteak with chicken was really good. The peppers, onions, and firecrackin sauce made it a flavor explosion. The meat was tender and cooked nicely. The Cubano was a nice spin on the cheesesteak, with carnitas and smoked ham. The garlic fries were good as any. The online order form doesn't offer drinks as an option, so those have up be arranged and paid for separately at pickup. I didn't have cash on me, so the lovely woman at the counter was kind enough to give me a water and a coke with a "pay next time" to keep things simple. We'll be on the lookout for their food truck, as this was a solid comfort meal.
