Everything told us that they were open. The lamps were on, it was 3,5 hours before closing time, the music was on and they were both ready at the bar. However, when we opened the door and I politely greeted them in Japanese, they replied in English saying “sorry! Closed!”.. I was very surprised. They were clearly open, the restaurant was also empty. I can’t say for certain if this was the case, but I know that foreigners are sometimes refused at restaurants. However, I live part time in this country and speak the language.. never have I felt so discriminated. Local people entered the restaurant after us and didn’t get send away. Service: 1
