Once the promenade around the Third Street African Methodist Episcopal Church is over, visit Lillie Pearl. Eating perfectly cooked fried chicken, crab cakes and fried chicken sandwiches is a nice experience here. This bar offers good banana pudding, peach cobbler and bread pudding. You will be offered delicious wine, beer or Mimosas. When visiting Lillie Pearl, it's a must to try great tea, coffee or lemonade.

Our waitress was Chelsea who extremely pleasant, however the bartender said out loud “Tell Chelsea to tell her customers to get the f…k out of here which was followed with laughter. After relating to our waitress what was overheard ( only customers there prior to closing for lunch) She brought the manager who gave approximately $20.00 off the ticket. Very disappointed and cheated of an experience in Virginia. My family and I will never visit again!
