Really disappointing delivery take away from the Lime Tree this evening. Waited over 15 minutes past the estimated delivery time and when an overpriced meal for two got here that cost just under £40 (two curries, two chapatis and two popadoms with chutneys) there were three mouth fulls of actual curry in each meal, the rest of it being 70% sauce. I've ordered from this restaurant before but given this experience, I won't be doing so again. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1

I am sorry that you had to publicise your food that you received from us. Our prices are reflected on the quality of the products and are premium. I cannot compete against other takeaways, who are non-compliant, we are a compliant restaurant and we do give a 15% discont on take-aways. On the pictures you took, you ordered a chicken korma, which is saucy and should have 8 pieces depending on the size of the chicken pieces, sweet, mild and saucy. The other one was king prawns which are juicy and normally 4 peices as they are 6/8 size, not ordinary ones. We have served these sized portions for 18 years. Once again, I am sorry that we did not meet your standards. I am proud of my quality of food and portions and if my staff were Not delivering that, then I will take action. Thanks

Myself and my wife visited on Sunday 7th of june, my wife had a dhal i had a vegetable Biryani as soon as I tasted the Biryani i could tell there was something wrong with it as we have Indian food a lot in our home especially my wife cooks Biryani regularly,and we know it's a dish that takes long to make,the one I had tasted like it hadn't been in the fridge,so I asked the you girl waitress who said that she was sorry and took my plate back into the kitchen, then the head waiter came over he was VERY RUDE saying that the food is cooked fresh,and it couldn't of tasted off,he didn't apologise at all,all he said in a VERY RUDE MANNER do I want anything else or do I just want it taking off my bill,a professional waiter word of sorted it out, I was given a dhal and when it came again there was no apology ,we would only visi the restaurant again if the attitude of the head waiter changed,but on last nights episode I can not see it.
