The restaurant has a beautiful decoration, a pleasant atmosphere, and a very strong image on Instagram, so naturally we arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience did not match what was presented online. We were a group of 7 people celebrating my husband’s birthday, something that had already been clearly mentioned during the reservation request. Even so, there was absolutely no attention or care from the restaurant regarding the occasion. Honestly, we were not expecting anything extravagant, but at least a small gesture of hospitality would have made a difference — a simple “Happy Birthday” written on a plate, a symbolic dessert, a coffee, a complimentary drink, or even someone from the staff coming to the table to acknowledge the celebration. None of this happened. We usually celebrate birthdays with our Italian group of friends in several restaurants around Dubai, and normally there is always some level of care, hospitality, or courtesy from the restaurant. Unfortunately, this time we felt zero empathy and no effort whatsoever to make the evening feel special. In addition, when we arrived, the service took a long time to start. I had also sent a message before the reservation, and I only received a reply when we were already seated inside the restaurant, which gave a strong impression of disorganization and lack of attention toward customers. The pizzas also took a long time to arrive at the table and, overall, the service throughout the evening was slow. Another disappointing detail was the Aperol Spritz I ordered. The drink came with far too much ice and very little actual beverage, and within a few minutes it had practically turned into water. I was also genuinely surprised that, despite being a restaurant with an Italian identity, Italian decoration, and a very strong Italian concept on social media, none of the staff members spoke Italian. As an Italian and a Dubai resident, I always look for restaurants that make me want to come back and recommend them to friends. Unfortunately, this experience did not leave me with that feeling. Even though it was a group dinner with a significant level of consumption throughout the evening, unfortunately the level of attention and hospitality did not match the expectations created by the restaurant. After our visit, I also sent private feedback directly to the restaurant explaining our experience, but I never received any response. I sincerely hope they can improve these points in the future. We visited Limonata at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah and had such a lovely experience. The location is beautiful, right by the beach, with a vibrant Italian vibe that makes you feel like you're on a little getaway. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pizza was perfectly baked, and the pasta was rich and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish — perfect for a sunset dinner, a girls’ lunch, or even a romantic evening. Sitting outdoors with the sea view makes the whole experience even better. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Overall, a wonderful Italian dining experience in a stunning location. Highly recommended if you're in Palm Jumeirah!
