They got my 2 year old broken fireplace replaced same day. They heard my old fireplace vendor made me wait 6 weeks in winter with it down and then told me it would be $2k to fix it. Oh this was my only heat source. They bent over backwards to help me. And the replacement cost less than the original fireplace with more features.
Andy came out to do a routine cleaning of our gas fireplace in December. $200 to clean it out, $26 for a blower sensor, and $950 for a new piece of glass (much needed). He was friendly and did a good job. I felt so secure knowing I could depend on our fireplace for the winter, as it is our main heating source. Cut to January 28th, when the temperature dipped into the low 20's for 4 nights straight. Suddenly the pilot light went out and could not be relit. I knew I could not get emergency service, but I thought for sure they would get me the part# I needed so I could order it myself and have a contractor friend install it. Nope. After several attempts, I called a random fireplace store in Iowa and a very caring person asked me to send photos. Within 10 minutes he emailed me the part. When I went in person to the Milwaukie showroom on Febrary 9th, I was dismayed that no one noticed me for at least 5 minutes. Finally I was able to talk to a manager. When I asked him why I was ignored for 10 days, esp. after just spending $1200 on service, he said they were very busy. I countered with it would've taken 10 minutes. He said, no 20 minutes, as if I were not worth the effort. Be warned. There is no sense of caring customer service here. P.S. I didn't get quite the right part and we had to jimmy it in, but at least it works.
We bought our fireplace insert 2012. Lisac's has serviced our fireplace regularly. They are always on time and professional. We recently sold our home and for some reason inspectors changed multiple settings on the fireplace. Why they would do that is beyond me. I called Lisac's on a Saturday morning and their support team walked me through resetting everything. We appreciate their service technicians very much.
