Ive eaten at mire than one lisas. Their great taste, from scratch freshness, and large portions will make going into some scary neighborhoods totally worth it. This is not the case here. I along with everyone else eagerly awaited their opening and held back the first few weeks knowing there's always a few Kinks to be worked out and to avoid the crowds but nothing can explain why my chicken tenders looked like half the size of every other Lisa's Chicken. like they literally took a tender and cut it in half to make it stretch further. the oil was old and burnt and nasty. my fried pickles were the color of burnt hush puppies it was inedible. If I was sitting in the dining area I would have had them make it over instead I just threw them away. I thought about returning them and when I dug out my receipt I realized I was overcharged. Just all around a bad experience with the food. The service. Everything but location. The bathrooms and building are pretty, plenty of parking. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: USD 10–20

I don't know what all the hype is about. This place is a poor excuse for a restaurant. Locals obviously don't get out much because after two visits, I found the food to be consistently poor. The grease was burned. The staff was irritable. The dining room dirty. People came in, ate their food, and left quickly.
