After we were seated, our server was right there to take our drink order and then gave us ample time to look over the menu, which was your typical American restaurant fare. My wife ordered the Ribeye steak, I ordered the fried seafood platter that consisted of, haddock, whole belly clams, shrimp, and scallops, with homemade onion rings in lew of the fries. According to my wife, her steak was cooked to perfection and had a great flavor. My seafood platter was delicious, and each item was perfectly fried. The onion rings, unlike most eateries, were expertly breaded, the crispy breading adhered to the onion slices, not falling off every time you pick one up. If you live, visit, or even pass through Wells Maine, I highly recommend you stop in at Litchfield's Bar and Grill for some great food! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Last evening, we dined at Litchfield's. We were really blessed with our experience there. I had the lobster dinner special with an additional side of fried onion rings and Barbara had the fish and chips (fried haddock). The food was well prepared and the service was excellent. Our cheerful server, Kathleen D., took great care of us. We recommend Litchfields.
