Little Beast in the Palisades is a strong neighborhood spot with a cozy, low-key feel, and the soup was the highlight. It was thick, rich, and almost meal-like on its own—more substantial than a starter, but still satisfying rather than heavy. The flavor had a bright roasted tomato/red pepper feel, with just enough garnish to keep it fresh. My only knock: no bread with a soup this hearty feels like leaving the closer on the bench. Still, the dish was well-made, comforting, and exactly the kind of thing that makes Little Beast worth a return visit. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We visited this cute new pizza place for the first time this week and it is a wonderful addition to the Palisades. The decor is adorable and the food was delicious! We will definitely return for more. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We got the Motown and Redwing pizza. The motown pizza was delicious, very cheesy and heavy. The caramelized onions were really good and the sauce was a nice touch. My boyfriend preferred the redwing pizza but it just had a weird taste for me. It’s definitely very heavy so next time we’ll try the thin sliced pizzas
