The fish & chips was good, but the prawn sandwich was incredibly basic. I asked for a children's fish & chips as I wanted a smaller portion, but was told adults can't order it. Instead, I was offered a fish starter and told to add chips separately, which would have cost almost as much as a full fish & chips. Price per person: £10–20

We've stayed in Hull this weekend and found this lovely little cafe on Princess Quay, where we visited both mornings. The breakfasts were freshly made and delicious and the owner is a really nice friendly guy who made us feel very welcome. The cafe is clean and table service was quick, even though there were lots of other customers. I'd thoroughly recommend popping by if you are in this area of Hull.
