Very disappointed to find we couldn’t have hot food after 2pm. Waited in a big queue to be served and when we got to head of queue to order @ 14.05 we were told the kitchen was closed. There is nowhere else nearby to eat and we were very hungry after cycling round both lakes. Cafe doesn’t actually close until 4pm so seems crazy to close kitchen 2 hours before cafe closes, also it was a bank holiday and very busy. Not sure we will ride here again as left very hungry and had to make do with a garage sausage roll as we didn’t want the cake that was on offer at the cafe.

I arranged to bring a group of advanced motorcyclists for breakfast. I had sent a list of breakfast orders but never expected the level of service we received. 18x people with various orders, all watered and fed ,and thinking about leaving within 30 minutes. All the food was hot and good. Top job by all the staff. Thanks Parking: 1st hour is free Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot

We were there at a quiet time but have eaten here on many occasions. Breakfast is good quality and reasonably priced. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
