Lo- fi is a very good nightclub with a laid back and cozy vibe in Seattle's Eastlake neighborhood near I-5. They have various events on different nights. I have been here 3 times, twice on 80's night (4th Saturday night of the month) and once on 90's/00's music night (3rd Saturday of the month). Cover is a reasonable 10 dollars (cash only for cover- bar takes credit cards) and there are 2 dancefloors (1 in front and 1 in back where the bathrooms are) and a lot of interesting photos and drawings on the walls of the club. There is also a small room by the main bar with tables and 2 retro video games if you want to sit down. On both 80's and 90's night they play a movie from the 80's or 90's on the front dancefloor on a projector screen (sound turned off). The DJ's play a good selection of retro music and if you do not like the song in 1 area you can just go to the other one where the other DJ plays a different tune. Like most bars in Seattle the majority of the clientele seems to be male (I would guess about two thirds of the audience are guys the nights I went there) and most people seem to come with their significant other or with a group of friends (I do not see much pairing or hooking up the times I have been there) and most people dance with who they came with. If you are looking for a cool and affordable place to come listen and dance to retro music this place is definitely worth a visit (after all, when was the last time you heard Robyn's Show Me Love or Corey Hart's Sunglasses at Night played at a nightclub).
