I came to Rome for a week with my daughter and we were lucky enough to find the trattoria "Lo Scopettaro" after a couple of evenings, a welcoming restaurant, the owner, despite the place being almost full, managed to find us a table on the first day without booking with unique kindness. We ate wonderful carbonara and amatriciana, spectacular house white wine. Given how we found ourselves, we didn't miss the opportunity to book for the other three evenings we had left in Rome and we ate the delicious straw and hay fettuccine, spectacular chicken Cacciatore and lamb, obviously always with the house white wine and every evening For two people we spent the right amount and felt at home. Obviously when we return to Rome it will be our reference restaurant. I recommend it to everyone, it is located on the Tiber in Testaccio, a stone's throw from the Sublicio Bridge. Don't wander around for anything, go straight to “Lo Scopettaro”, GREAT!!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
