Our first night at The Inn at Death Valley we thought we would try the lounge for a lite meal and a drink. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. My wife had the Tuna Poke Nachos and I had the Buffalo Chicken Sliders. Both were really good and would highly recommend them. The next two nights we hung out at the bar and rally enjoyed Steve the bar tender. He is hard working, knows his drinks and a pleasure to talk to. At this point in 2023 I would eat here rather than the dinning room.
This is a small bar located between the hotel lobby and the restaurant. The bar is pretty well stocked but has a limited wine list. The restaurant does allow BYOB and the corkage fee is very reasonable. The bar does serve food-this is important as the restaurant can be fully booked at dinner. The bar has approximately ten stools plus five or six tables to accommodate some but not all without restaurant reservations. One side of the bar-opposite the bar-is a wall of windows where patrons can watch the sunset over Death Valley. Please remember-this is Death Valley-there is nothing for miles-Furnace Creek Inn is the only oasis of civilization!
