It's a shame, unfortunately the many positive reviews didn't meet our expectations. The atmosphere is rustic. The chairs are very wobbly. Actually a make-over would be necessary. The menu is based on Mediterranean cuisine. The wine list is ok but nothing exceptional. The appetizer of calamaretti was very good. The second starter with tagliatelle and 4 mini scallops was rather boring and drowned in cream sauce. For me they were rather cheap scallops. The main course of loup de mer was average. Unfortunately no lobster was seen with the lobster sauce. My plate with the side dishes was cold. The veal kidneys we ordered came as veal fillet in an over-peppery sauce. The fillet was more like two well-done, thin scalopinis. The service was ok even though they insisted at first that we had ordered veal fillet and not the kidneys. Unfortunately, if you sit at the service pass to the kitchen you can see everything. I also didn't think it was professional to say to a walk-in guest that they were fully booked tonight, even though there were still enough seats available in the restaurant. All the best to the restaurant and its regular guests, of whom we will not be one. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The service is attentive and friendly The atmosphere is rustic Tablecloth and napkins made of duni paper You don't argue with the guest, 80% of the time the guest is right... PERIOD The “restaurant” should see itself as a bistro And lobster as a name is over the self-description “Mediterranean cuisine” The dishes on the menu are ambitious but leave something to be desired here and there Either overly seasoned or bland The pass to the gastraum is daring If you sit in the middle you can see EVERYTHING watching or listening in the kitchen The "lobster sauce" should not be at the clearing station or at the clearing pass for reasons of hygiene The “cooks” throw the plates into the pass without using the station bell Therefore the food is logically cold The only one who used the bell was the gentleman from the spülstadion (higher praise ) who put the creme brulée up for grabs Therefore giving 5 stars is only due to that That there are regular guests who are always welcome and for whom a table is always kept free Walk-ins are turned away even though there are enough free tables for one course As a result, it is logically always fully booked Five stars are only given by die-hard regulars or friends My tip Visit the really French restaurant next door Anyone who complains about the Maschaanz because of the “rude” boss Arrives better there Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
