Random stop when we looked for a place near the event we were going to. Shared salsa & chips and the salad with shrimp. Roasted tomatoes in the salad, fresh arugula, cheese. Omg. Absolutely fantastic and what a pleasant surprise! Even the salsa was made fresh to order. We ate every single bite. Service was excellent and super friendly. We ended up going back for a drink after the event with a couple friends. Then we can smell them smoking meat wafting temptingly through the room. We HAVE to go back and try more menu items! One of my favourite places, without question. So much so that I celebrated my birthday here in March. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, complete with an oyster bar and custom signature cocktail. Planning the event was genuinely fun and by the end of it, I felt like I made new friends. Everything came together perfectly. Add DJ Marinko to the mixamazing! Local. is a hidden gem off the beaten path. The kind of place you don’t want anyone to know about but at the same time want everyone to know about!
