I have been a die hard Local Roots fan for years and I am even a monthly membership holder. The transition to the Boochyard has been depressing to say the least. A lot of the local flair and fun of the place has been sucked dry from it and now it feels like a corporate daycare rather than a fun local spot. Local roots built this place and Boochcraft is working diligently to wipe them off to the shelves and menu. My biggest gripe is that I pay for a monthly LOCAL ROOTS membership and when I show up to get my monthly pick up I am faced with only Boochcraft as an option…. UNACCEPTABLE. I don’t pay for a monthly Boochcraft subscription. If this doesn’t change, I will be revoking my membership. Ownership clearly doesn’t care about the Local Roots consumer base who built this place.
