Great place for brunch. Good drip coffee (espresso based coffee not available). Maybe I wouldn’t make the walk-in line again, but I would definitely come with a reservation. I went as a walk-in for brunch on a Saturday. I got to a line where I had 4 or 5 tables before me, and decided to wait. I ended up waiting +1 hour in line before I got a spot, because the place is small and really cozy, but this also means that it doesn’t fit many people. Everything I ate was delicious: The eggs Comodore, the avocado tartine, and the pancakes. I found the portions to be a bit small for my taste (we were 2 people and ordered 3 dishes to be satisfied) but I was happy to get to try several things. The coffee was soft, slightly acid and at perfect temperature. That’s how I like it, but for people who like it stronger or are looking for lattes, maybe it will be lacking. I liked that you can get a seat in the bar, where you have an open view of the kitchen. The team at Locale is clean and works smoothly. I loved that. Overall, at least for breakfast, I wouldn’t say I tried dishes or combinations that felt new but I can say they felt as great quality executions of classics, all fresh and tasty.
