I’ve been to this place four times, and after my last visit yesterday, I can officially say: apparently, customer service here comes with a dress code — white, skinny, and preferably someone the server already knows. At first, I thought the server was simply having a bad day. I’m a server myself, so I understand that sometimes you’re tired, stressed, or just having one of those shifts. But four visits with exactly the same attitude? At some point, it stops being a bad day and starts looking like a personality trait. I’m talking about the shorter, fair-skinned guy covered in tattoos. His customer service is practically nonexistent. Zero warmth, zero empathy, zero effort — but apparently an unlimited supply of friendliness when he’s serving people he actually likes. Yesterday was the perfect example. I ordered a bottle of Prosecco. He brought me a rosé. And before I could even say, “Excuse me, I think this is the wrong bottle,” he simply dropped it on the table and walked away. No question, no apology, no acknowledgment. Just here’s your random wine, good luck. Meanwhile, the girls at the table next to us — who appeared to be friends with him — were treated like VIPs at a five-star restaurant. Constant attention, smiles, checking on them, friendly conversation basically a completely different server. Meanwhile, we apparently had to submit a formal government application just to get him to look in our direction. The difference in treatment was so obvious that it became uncomfortable to watch. And yes, I’m going to say it: after experiencing this repeatedly, the way he treats people who don’t fit the “white and skinny” category feels deeply discriminatory and racist. Maybe that’s not the intention, but when the same behavior happens repeatedly and the contrast is this obvious, customers are going to notice. What’s particularly disappointing is that I actually love this place. The reason I kept coming back was because I genuinely enjoyed it. Unfortunately, no food or atmosphere is good enough to make me want to repeatedly pay money to be treated like an inconvenience. Management: maybe spend a little less time worrying about what’s happening on the menu and a little more time paying attention to what’s happening on the floor. Because if this is the kind of service you’re comfortable providing, congratulations — you’ve managed to make a customer who actually liked your establishment seriously consider never coming back. Four visits. Same attitude. Same treatment. Same server. At this point, I don’t think he was having a bad day. I think we were simply having the wrong skin tone. Service: 1

Nina is genuinely one of the reasons my friends and I return almost weekly to this spot. She is the best server we have ever had. She is always in a great mood and never has a frown even when it's busy. She knows how to hold her own, especially with a packed bar. We are consistently checked in on, and our glasses never run dry. Thank you so much, Nina, for making Locals Only our go-to spot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Disgusting behaviour from GM/server ! I thought we had a great rapport and left a large tip only to be told off by him afterward! I just said don’t worry packing my leftovers, I can manage and he RUDELY said, “have you seen me go inside yet?” And I’m like ??? “I don’t know if you’ve been in or not since I asked for a take out box, I just said don’t worry!” And again he rudely said “Did you see me go inside??” And I told him where to go and said I wish I could get my tip back. Rude rude service
