Beautiful place, excellent 5-star service, new place, clean and very well looked after both inside and on the terrace (in Piazza Francesco Carrara). Excellent view and very intimate and quiet. The chef must be starred because he cooks divinely. Also modest on gluten free cooking which is excellent. Very very attentive to my allergies and intolerances. Thank you for the gastronomic experience and for your kindness. I loved their revisited prawns with mint sauce, and also the linguine with lemon, clams and mullet bottarga. The dessert did not disappoint either. The coffee is served with biscuits in a casket and the fresh pasta and bread with gluten is produced by them. I highly recommend it. Absolutely worth trying. The only flaw... is not having you on our doorstep because we live in Versilia but we will definitely return. Greetings to all the staff!!! Well done. I recommend a sign to give you more visibility in the square because we didn't see the restaurant immediately, but we found it by chance. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We only discovered this spontaneously when we arrived hungry in our nearby B&B and it was recommended to visit Montecarlo. We only had one thing in mind and that we need to have meat that night. So it was fascinating for us to be choosing Locanda Lunardi's and tasting the best dry-aged beef we had EVER, even according to my Piemontese husband: "Best meat in his whole entire life!" That's big news! The meat was definitely the star of the show but adding to that is the homemade butter they served with bread that was so good, and noticing little details, such us providing blankets when it was getting chilly at night or putting a separate chair for one lady's dog, or explaining the food to me in English so I can better understand. More than the great food was really the little details that makes it the best experience. Highly recommended!
