I would call Lodge a “bistro” since the chef’s goal is “to serve French cuisine in a casual setting with no compromise on taste and cuisine.” Honestly, the flavors are exquisite! I really like the concept and am really happy to have such a restaurant in the country side. Of course, you will need to drive there or take a taxi from Niisato Station or Akagi Station. Is there a bus? But, it is definitely worth it! I heard that children are also welcome. What a lovely and affordable way to introduce exquisite French food at a young age.
