Just had some food here, absolutely fabulous. Scabbard fish in a flatbread , followed by lemon cheesecake. Plus a nice americano. Thoroughly enjoyable. Great staff great place. Sat upstairs looking out the window over the square listening to an acoustic guitarist. Price per person: €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Avoid this place. Horrible service and disrespectful staff. We had a terrible experience here on Sunday. We arrived around 14:40 for a late lunch, the place was about 80% capacity. We sat upstair on the first floor and ordered two iced teas, a toast sandwich, a bolo de caco sandwich, and a slice of cake. While the drinks arrived quickly, the food never did. After 40 minutes I asked a waiter to check. I asked again after 10 more minutes, he told me "just two more minutes". After waiting for over 1 hour in total for a couple sandwiches, we decided to pay the iced teas and leave. The waiter started making excuses, claiming they had to unfreeze the bolo de caco.... I genuinely felt like they were making fun of us and gaslighting us instead of taking responsibility for a completely forgotten order. Save your time and your money and avoid this place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I went to loja do cha funchal with my mum dad and my sister mollie for lunch today And I really liked my lunch because it very tasty yummy delicious It was the best lunch I have ever had You do such amazing food at this restaurant The staff that work there are very kind lovely polite The service there is very good amazing wonderful I had a very lovely experience there today at loja do cha funchal This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me Enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5 stars all around Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
