Wonderful, cozy, inviting environment. Comfy chairs, welcoming atmosphere. My partner's rooibos chai was excellent. I, however, was unfortunate though to try their matcha. I really want to rate this business higher, but the matcha was AWFUL. Please have someone who is a member of a Japanese tea ceremony school come and teach y'all. I'd be happy to do so, in fact. The matcha's origin and grade wasn't something the tea barista could tell me. She put two small scoops in the bowl and a bit of water. So far, so ok... But then poured a ton more way too hot water on top of that. There was almost no foam, there were chunks of matcha in the bottom, and the whisk itself was caked with black stuff at the base of the tines, which were straight and ragged. That whisk needs to be replaced. Whisks should also be thoroughly cleaned after each use. I'm a little queasy, inspecting the whisk that was used in my drink. I think if you get traditional steeped teas, you will have a lovely time here. Just... Do NOT order the Japanese matcha.

This is THE place in CNY for tea. If you love tea, you absolutely MUST come visit. First, the couple that own the shop are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They love to have a good chat about tea and will remember you the next time you come in because they run the place themselves. There honestly aren't a lot of places like that around anymore, so it's refreshing. Their tea selection is absolutely off the charts. So much variety in the types of teas they offer and they often have new ones on rotation. They're always happy to give you a recommendation whether you're new to tea or if your favorite is out of stock! Some of my favorites I'd recommend from their shop include: Black (most caffeine): Honey Hong Cha, Wild Tree Purple Oolong: Four Seasons, Milk Oolong Green: Jasmine Pearls Herbal (caffeine free): Hibiscus, Lemongrass, Chamomile They also sell a bunch of tea-related equipment from beautiful cups and pots to small gifts like infusers, tea journals, and $3 sample bags. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much of their unassuming food menu but it was actually very good. In particular, I tried their red wine chili which was INCREDIBLE. I've never had that style of chili before, but it was show-stopping. They also host kitchen takeovers and tasting events in collaboration with From Scratch Caz, which are incredibly fun and delicious! I loved their recent oolong-themed event and am looking forward to the new event next month! Truly a series I hope they continue for the foreseeable future. I haven't tried their bubble tea, mostly because... why would I? This place is an absolute gem for good loose tea and I savor that unique experience each time I drive up from Binghamton to visit. I'm sure the bubble tea is good, but you're really missing out if you don't share a nice pot of tea with friends on a quiet afternoon here. Truly a hidden gem. If I lived near Cazenovia, this would be my go-to third place. So I come here as often as I can and hope you get the chance to, as well! Really glad to have found this place, especially with the recent closures of some other tea shops around CNY the last few years. Show them some love!

Cute little place in Cazenovia. Stopped here after pizza nearby. I was sad to see it so empty because the service was attentive and friendly, there was warm and interesting decor, and the baked goods are superb. If we are in the area again we will definitely stop by.
