There are two types of people that stay at Loki Cusco, Israelis and people who don't know any better. The entire facility is in a general state of disrepair. 7 of the 8 bathrooms have no hand soap, when I asked why I was told guests had broken them during a party. I would never eat food here considering even the employees cannot wash their hands after using the bathroom. Another review from August also said they had no soap in the bathrooms so its not a new issue. My private room had a very old uncomfortable bed, no window and a bad smell of methane sewage gas from the bathroom. The dorm had excessive mildew and broken locker doors. There are a few friendly female receptionist but that doesn't come close to canceling out the total lack of maintenance. The fact that they are actively expanding the hostel when they can't even maintain the current facilities is laughable. Black Lama and Wild Rover Hostel are far superior.

New ones are already being installed throughout the bathrooms.It’s also worth mentioning that Loki Cusco is located in a beautiful 16th-century mansion, and with that charm comes ongoing maintenance — something our team works on constantly to preserve the building’s character and comfort. Your room, room 19 does infact have a window. We love hosting people from all over the world and everyone is welcome. We would never discriminate against anyone from any specific country. It’s a real shame you didn’t come to speak with us during your stay — if you had, we would have gone out of our way to help you, whether by changing your room or providing anything you needed to make your experience better.
