I'm told they are out of business and this is devestatingly sad. The food and vibe were beautiful. I blame the greedy landlord. The previous cafe also went under and it was vacant for 2+ years. Instead of working with them to make it work, they bankrupted them. Now they get nothing. But they deserve less. Shame! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Lola Melona in Point Cook today and absolutely loved the experience. The food was fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented — you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. We ordered the arepa with pork belly and chorizo, the chicken quesadillas, the Cuban sandwiches, and chai lattes. The arepa was the standout — crispy on the outside, soft inside, topped with slow-cooked beans, juicy chorizo and perfectly crispy pork belly. Such a great mix of flavours and textures. The chicken quesadillas were cheesy, golden and served with a tasty dipping sauce, perfect for sharing. The Cuban sandwiches were generous, soft and packed with filling, and the chai lattes were warm, aromatic and not too sweet — a perfect finish. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. If you’re looking for delicious Latin-inspired food in Point Cook, Lola Melona is definitely worth visiting. We’ll happily be back!
