Received an email from JetBlue Mastercard with recommendations near me in Long Beach so we decided to give Lona's City Limits Cantina (LCLC) a try. We arrived around 6pm...we stood by the bar waiting for the single bar tender for a while. She kept refilling draft beers for a few customers despite knowing that we had been waiting and those customers came after us. We left and walked over to Roxanne's to a completely different and more welcoming lounge bar and eatery. To our surprise they were also playing the Chiefs vs Dolphins game...so it was a PLUS so we stayed. The cocktails at Roxanne's were GREAT and unique. The food was fresh and also with a twist. The icing on the cake was the SERVICE was AMAZING! LCLC is definitely not a place I or any of our friends would recommend. Maybe it caters more to locals base on their clientele.
