Perfect fish tacos! It came out nice and hot, with a crispy outside and soft inside. Good portion of fried fish, nice amount of sauce on top, and tortillas' texture was soft. I loved the ceviche too. So yummy. It's just a long process though to wait in line, order food at the truck, and wait for your food to be ready. A lot of other customers were getting mad, but I thought it was worth the wait in the end. There's a handful of standing tables under a canopy.

This review is shrilly based on the cashiers attitude I should have listened to the reviews. I ordered two tostadas I try to pay and it's cash only still in 2022 cash only cool I'll go get cash. I come back and now I have to wait till she finished the food in her mouth. I've worked on plenty of food trucks and this service is ridiculous. Haven't even had my food and I already don't want to come here again.

This food truck is not Mariscos Germán. Mariscos Germán is owned by a Guatemalan man who no longer has his food truck in this spot. Mariscos la Reyna in comparison to Germán's fish tacos are bigger in terms of the size of the battered fish. Germán fish tacos are $1.25 while La Reyna sells them for $1.75, which makes sense due to the size difference. In terms of flavor they both are up to par and honor Ensenada style battered fish tacos well. The fish is not overly battered and the flavor is seasoned well without being too salty. I personally always make the drive to this food truck parked outside of a corner Market in Southcrest San Diego for delicious and quality seafood dishes. Anything you order is packed with as much seafood as you can for in a bite. I like all of the ceviches, cocktails and especially the fish tacos. I have a big appetite and get full with two but my dad can eat three fish tacos and be satisfied. I love how the tortillas are authentic corn tortillas and the cream on the tacos is fresh. I'm glad they don't use the thin Mission/Guerrero tortillas. The cabbage tomatoes and purple onion on top are not excessive and add the right amount of zest to the taco. The lemons, pickled purple onions, and salsa is self served and limitless. The best is the red salsa is the spiciest you'll find anywhere. They also have creamy chipotle sauce and green salsa. Whenever you need to satisfy a Latinx seafood craving come here!!!
