Very good fish and chips! Here is the score breakdown… These are Dave Portnoy level Olympic Scores. Fish 7.9. Tartar Sauce 8.9 it was that good! Chips (potato wedges) 7.6 Anything 8 and above is something I would drive 90 minutes or more for. The fish batter had a wonderful flavor and fish tasted good. The batter kept falling off the fish but it was worth the battle. I would absolutely drive an hour to come here and have the fish. The Tartar sauce was phenomenal! I would drive 90 minutes to buy it in bulk if they offered it. It had a strong dill flavor and tasted fresh and homemade, excellent work. The chips (potato wedges) were good, I enjoyed them as much as I would making them at home. Nothing to drive for but enjoyable with the fish. The Woman taking orders wasn’t very sociable, nice just not very talkative. But she did do a good job with the food. Would absolutely come back for more when in town!
