We had a really nice lunch here with our family today. Food was good, atmosphere is lovely. Maisie our waitress deserves a special mention- we were a big table with lots of orders and requests and she was really attentive to everything. She asked if our dog wanted water and took time to bring her a treat despite it being very busy and attending multiple tables at once. She had a lovely manner. We would recommend this pub with its good food and their lovely staff! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Popped in for lunch whist in the area. My wife had the chicken burger; I had the Sussex cheeses ploughman’s. Both were excellent. The local beers were spot-on. And the staff were friendly and welcoming. If only the place didn’t involve a 100 mile round trip Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
