The English decor was impeccable, with lace curtains, a cozy ambiance, and tasteful furnishings that transported me straight to a classic tearoom. The spread was equally impressive—egg sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam, and an assortment of sweet treats, all beautifully presented on tiered stands. A quaint small shop at a convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from the tram station. The staff are extremely friendly and patient with tourists, and the price is more than just reasonable, with delicious scones and shortbread. (The scones reminded me more of biscuits, but were amazing nonetheless.) The teaware is attractive and should be of interest to people who are more versed in antique plates than I am.
