We have always enjoyed Longhorn Steak House. Recently, September 2, we went to the Longhorn Steak House on Oracle. The food and service were great. What I would like to know is your policy on animals inside your restaurant. I have no problem with service animals as they are well trained, lay on the floor by their owner and are there to protect their owner in a medical emergency. What I have a problem with is someone bringing their animal ( in this case it was a medium size dog) into a restaurant letting it sit up at the table and feeding it food from the table. This was extremely unappetizing having to view this while we were eating and totally unacceptable inside an eating establishment. These people using “emotional support” as an excuse is BS. If you can’t be away from your animal for a couple hours then stay home, or go to a medical doctor and get a trained certified service dog for your problem. I love animals, especially dogs, but I would never bring my dog inside an eating establishment so matter how well they were trained.. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We decided to goto Longhorn last night as a celebration for a life event that had happened and it was not a good experience. Now keep in mind this place was not busy when we walked in and was not busy when we left. We arrive and go in, host is no where to be found so we patiently wait about 5-7 minutes later, she comes up and greets us, no "hello how are you" just a how many will there be. Not a good impression from the start, she starts going through a cupboard looking for menus, then takes us to our table, we sit down and she walks away. We then sat there for a good 20 minutes, no one had greeted us, came to get drink orders ect. Quite a few staff had walked past ignoring us. A large party started ariving probably about 15 people and they were greeted immediately and got drinks. I finally stopped someone and asked if they knew who or where our server was and they said they will find someone, another 5-7 or so minutes had passed and still no one came up to us. We finally decided to just leave and go somewhere else. Previously being a restaurant manager I would hold my staff to the standard of when a table is sat you are to be there within 2 minutes to greet the table even if it is just to say hello my name is so and so I will be right with you. Each seat in a restaurant holds a standard price of what someone will order and when a 4 top walks out that is $80-$100 gone not including the tip. The staff needs to be re-trained on hospitality and the manager needs to be held accountable for their staff. This would have been an instant write up. I've seen a couple reviews state the same thing that had happened to us. We last came here 3 years ago and the service was great however this time was horrible. We will not be returning to longhorn steakhouse for a long time. Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
