Right after visiting Adventure Landing Raleigh, come here for a meal. The menu of Mexican cuisine is recommended to degust at this restaurant. You will be served tasty stewed steaks, grilled beef and roasted meat. It's a pleasant experience to eat good churros and perfectly cooked flija. Great horchata is the best drinks of Los Cuates So-Cal Food - Drive-Thru.

I started eating at Los Cautes in 2008. The food was very similar to Mexican food like in California. I was ordering so frequently that they got to know me by name and even knew what I ordered and how I like it. Something changed/happened in 2024 their attitude (meaning the people who took the orders and handled payment at the window) always a teenager rarely ever an adult. They were still somewhat friendly if I ordered in person but if I ordered via Doordash they would (sometimes) cancel my order and if I called in they would answer and IMMEDIATELY hang up before I can even say one word, if I called from another number they would pick up but once I started talking and they realized who I was they'd hang up. When I tried telling one of the girls what was happening she acted as if she didnt know what I was talking about and dismissed me. When I asked to speak to the owner she of course, said she wasn't their and said she'd leave her my name and number to call me which she never did. So I stopped eating there for awhile. Months later I decided to ignore how I was being mistreated and started ordering again but it started right back up. I have NO CLUE as to what happen to cause them to become so disrespectful (mainly cause I cant get anyone to talk to me) but as god as my witness I know that I NEVER had an issue with them or problems, as I said they were very nice to me, but the last time I called Im almost positive that the owner answered, I was polite and started to introduce myself and she just hung up on me mid sentence and when I tried called back they would not pick up the phone! They are clearly very unprofessional and so as much as I love the food. I wont be going there anymore. I just wish I had been able to have a conversation and find out why they changed their attitude towards me, its extremely weird and baffling to say the least. Los Cuates So-Cal Food - Drive-Thru 5 Stars! Authentic SoCal Flavors and Speedy Service - The Carne Asada Burrito is a MUST! Los Cuates is my absolute go-to in Raleigh for a genuine taste of Southern California Mexican food, and their drive-thru is a lifesaver for quick and delicious meals. The menu is packed with all the SoCal staples you crave, from fantastic fish tacos to their famous California burrito. But let me tell you about the Carne Asada Burrito. This is where it's at if you're looking for authentic Mexican flavor. The grilled steak is so flavorful and tender, and when you add their red spicy salsa and that creamy avocado green salsa, it's an absolute flavor explosion! Seriously, if you appreciate true, no-frills Mexican taste, this burrito with those salsas is a must-try. It's packed with meat and fresh pico de gallo, just like you'd find in San Diego – no unnecessary rice or beans taking up space. Beyond the incredible carne asada burrito, their fish tacos are perfectly crispy, and the California burrito with those glorious fries inside is a classic for a reason. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the flavors are spot on. They even have those addictive spicy carrots! The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the drive-thru service is consistently fast and friendly. Can't-miss items: * Carne Asada Burrito with the red spicy salsa and avocado green salsa: Seriously, try it! * Fish Tacos: Crispy fried perfection in a soft corn tortilla. * California Burrito (or Carolina Burrito): A unique and satisfying combination of steak, fries, and more. * Queso Tacos Birria: Still on my list to try, but they look incredible! For anyone in Raleigh craving real Southern California Mexican food and needing a quick and satisfying meal, Los Cuates Drive-Thru is the answer. The carne asada burrito with those salsas alone is worth the trip! Highly, highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
