Our local fish and chip shop had closed few years ago and after trying many places around the Cannon Hill and Tingalpa area, we just couldn’t find a fish and chip shop with great food at a good price. Anyway, this Good Friday, we went to the Lota Takeaway and it was excellent. Even though there were many people, our order was delivered in reasonable time and the food was great. The crumb on the fish was fresh (I’m assuming shop made) and the chips were fluffy and hot. We’ll definitely be coming here again. The photo does not do it justice.
