Lou Boueiradour is a great restaurant situated in the picturesque village of Jumilhac-le-Grand, right in front of the majestic castle. The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes, from salads to meats and desserts, all cooked and presented to perfection. The staff are friendly and accommodating, speaking both French and English, and willing to go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable. The terrace outside provides beautiful views of the chateau and the village square. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food is excellent. All in all, Lou Boueiradour is a great place to visit for a delicious meal with a stunning view. Highly recommended!

Atrocious service after waiting 15 mins we asked if we could order a drink whilst waiting for another 8 guests to arrive. Despite the place not yet being busy we were told they would return shortly which she never did but proceeded to seat others and take their orders. Eventually we got up and went to get a drink ourselves from the bar. After a further 45 minute wait during which other guests had arrived the food orders still hadn’t been taken. 9€ for a small beer also seemed a tad high price wise. Staff attitude was so slack and off hand we gave up waiting, paid for our drinks and left. Definitely don’t recommend.
