I had a hanker'n for a Po'boy as I passed through Louisiana. So I swung in to Lou & Laura's "Home of the Original Po'boy". Well. It was accidental that I stopped there since Id actually came via my maps app to visit the Po'boy shop next door. I decided, lets give Lou & Laura a shot and see what they were rocking in the form of a Shrimp Po'boy. Well, it was perfectly loaded with fresh veggies, crispy fried shrimp and tasty mayo sauce on a hoagie roll. It was quite good. The young fella at the counter was quite pleasant also. Great place. Give Lou & Laura's a try. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Shrimp-Boy

We stopped in for lunch today. I had a fish po boy and my wife had a shrimp basket. I had to do a double-take looking at my "fish Po-boy" what a joke! The amount of fish on my order was skimpy to say the least and my wife's six pieces of shrimp looked and tasted like the shrimp you get in a Sea-Pak box, and both order had fries.
We also had a root beer each. All for $29! We felt totally ripped off. We felt totally ripped-off. We will not be going back!

I now live in Florida and I absolutely LOVE this place! I will go every day I come here to visit. I have been eating the Po boy basket since they were on Main Street in Pineville.
