Loutca Restaurant, located at Fereshte and Bosnie-Herzegonvin is probably the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. Once I arrived at the restaurant, I was not greeted by the hostess. By the time I sat down, made myself comfortable and turned on my tablet computer, it was 3:41 and I was not approached by anyone until 4:18. Nearly forty minutes after I sat down, the hostess came behind me, and began dusting the window sill where my table was situated. She actually shoved me from behind, then reached around me to dust the area around me. I asked her to stop and get me a waiter. The manager came and I told him that I had been sitting there for nearly 40 minutes and no one had approached me. He left and a few minutes later, a waiter came. I asked for a menu and he said they only had a digital menu. I ordered an Americana and after that was served, I was NOT approached by any employee of the restaurant again. About an hour later, I just got up and went inside to settle up. The owners of this restaurant have spent a small fortune on the decor, yet they have no clue as to how to run a restaurant. First of all, dusting areas around where a patron is seated is an absolutely NO NO. The service at Loutca is NON-EXISTENT. You literally get no service. The menu is unbelievably overpriced. An Americana and a green salad would have cost me 143,000 Toman! There was a big selection of soups, but they didn't have a single soup item available. One can tell a great deal about the aroma permeating out of a restaurant kitchen, and the only thing I could smell was the scene of BURNT OIL. So, I highly recommend that people in Tehran steer away from Loutca restaurant because it will give you the most horrible dining experience you can imagine. Don't just walk past Loutca, run past it.
