If I remember correctly, I came to discover this place as my friends and I were famished but couldn't find anywhere to go in Aura that could accommodate us so we sat our butts down here. I had the chicken steak and found it to be alright. So-so. My friends were happy with their orders; the burgers in particular seemed to be a standout off of the menu. What I have gone back to Love Shack over and over for is their KILLER toasted marshmallow soft ice cream. Oh my goodness. If you like marshmallows or just great unique desserts in general, don't waste a minute more. Come on over and add this goodness into your life!! You won't regret it.
It's a weirdly named place, especially because there's nothing "shack" looking about their interiors, but their food is definitely nothing to be sniffed at. I ended up having lunch there because a friend mentioned it, and while the image in my head was a small wooden shack in the middle of the street (which, upon looking back, would actually be kind of awesome and a pretty interesting experience), it was actually a pretty little bistro-looking place right in the middle of SM Aura. The menu consists of burgers, steaks, and pastas, but what you must try are definitely the burgers. I tried out the Love Shack Creation 1, mostly because it has bleu cheese, and I'm obsessed with that stuff. I will slather bleu cheese on anything and I will eat it. The thing that you will notice about their burgers is that their is a distinction even right in the patty. It turns out it's because they infuse shiitake mushrooms right into the patty, plus everything else is made in house. So after having a meal there and not understanding why there was a disconnect with the name and the interiors, I realized it must be because their food is the product of their love, and this is their shack where they made their love child, which is the burgers. Does that make sense? No? Whatever, I'm getting a steak.
Love Shack was alright. They have a nice restaurant setup and a pretty interesting menu. We ended up dining there because all the other restaurants were full, but we didn't regret it anyway. I started with the Caesar Salad, which was good - definitely met my standards when it comes to Caesar Salad. Haha. I then followed it up with the Tomato Shrimp Rigatoni pasta, which was alright. It was very simple, yet delicious. After the meal, we had gone to another establishment to grab some dessert. Love Shack is definitely a restaurant I'd be willing to go back to because I'm sure I haven't gotten the best of it yet! They have an enticing menu, and I really look forward to going back and getting the full experience of Love Shack :)
