Really disappointed with my experience at Love & Rockets on Lark Lane. We went in around 3pm during the day hoping to order food, but we were refused because I didn’t have ID on me. What made it even more confusing was that there were clearly children and teenagers eating inside at the same time. Staff explained that they were with guardians, but even though my friend was 21, they still wouldn’t allow them to order food for us. The whole situation felt inconsistent and unnecessary, especially in the middle of the afternoon. Left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. I am also 21 however do not have ID as no one was planning on buying alcohol. Really unpleasant I think this should be made more clear on socials etc or signs.
