It's a pleasant experience to taste good salads, turkey and soup. Great coffee will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back. It's a pity, the staff is knowledgeable as a number of guests note. Enjoyable service is something that visitors would like to improve here.

Lazy fron staff, it's been the case for years. Food is great but expect to wait 30 minutes for a sandwich. They let food stay and get cold while they're on their cellphones. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Heard this place is about to close which makes this review entirely pointless but oh well. It pains me to give only 2 stars because I actually really like their stuff. Sandwiches are mostly great, especially tuna; also love their soups, coffee drinks, salads etc - the problem is they almost always get my order wrong. Without fail, if I want something just a little different - like extra cheese, or a different bread, or something chopped instead of whole, whatever the case may be, it is guaranteed to completely throw them. They also have a hard time just taking down simple orders- I never knew if it was my accent (really not that severe, I swear!) or maybe their register was the issue - I have no idea but I always had to repeat my order several times while they furiously tapped away at the register looking puzzled. Very pleasant staff - but the fact that my order was never put together right, plus that the place is ridiculously freezing (they blame the building controlled AC) mostly made eating here a frustrating experience.

The location is quite convenient for me since I have clients in two buildings that are walking distance, but it's unassuming appearance never really enticed me in. I ordered a half turkey sandwich and my partner ordered half tuna and soup. They only have two soups available each day, and at noon, they were out of both... for the day. Both our sandwiches were overflowing with meat, but were not particularly amazing. Sometimes it's nice just to have a plain sandwich, so I may come back again, however Pasadena is a foodie paradise, so there is no reason to waste time on "okay" dining experiences.
