Surprised to see all these negative reviews. The team was very friendly (Thursday evening before Easter). Drinks were nice: Tommy's Marg, Watermelon Gin-infused cocktail "Desert Island Disco" and their new drink Suze' Q was interesting. Apparently we were one of the first to try it. Every night at the Lovers Lane is a bloody blast. Great dj's and live music, amazing cosy terrace, wonderful cocktails and probably the friendliest staff of Byron Bay ! Highly recommended, definitely THE place to go. Best bar/nightclub in town so far Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

THE SECURITY ARE DISGUSTING. There was a guard with blonde hair that was gripping and pushing girls for them to move and said to me put that in the FKN bin (when I left an orange peel on a table because I didn’t know where to put it) and grabbed onto me and pulled me out with out a reason. I went back the other night and the security refused me to come in and the security guard made lies that I hit him ect. Just pure disgusting that because I am a woman my voice didn’t get listen to. This occurred in 2022 I hope there have been improvements

Hi Maddie, Thank you for your review. I am sincerely sorry you had a horrible experience the last time you were at the venue. We have changed a lot of our staff since 2022, as we thrive to make everyone’s time the venue, enjoyable, safe and fun. We wish we would have heard from you at the time of this incident so we could have dealt with this immediately but thank you for bringing this to our attention. That security guard is no longer with us so we would love to see you back at the venue. I can assure you the culture has changed and an incident like yours, is very rare.
