Can't believe I haven't already rated this gem. Really friendly, delicious food (the samosa chat is a Friday lunchtime treat, when I get the chance) and the tea (English, sorry) is good and served in generously large mugs ;o). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came across lovey’s cafe today & so glad we did! Lovey & her husband are amazing hosts. Great communication and great part of the community over in rakegate. I had the samosa chaat which was fresh and perfect (the best I’ve ever had) with a masala chai which again was perfect (spice, sweetness & warmth). Honestly Lovey really has great cooking skills & knowledge. My other half had an English breakfast (but as he doesn’t eat pork his sausages were replaced with shish kebabs - honestly that great as most cafes would serve veggie sausages to replace so goes to show how the owners will go above and beyond to really make customers happy) with the most perfect runny egg & a peppermint tea & a good old natter with the owners :). We had to grab a smoothie and some extra samosas for home. Can’t wait to visit again. Was an absolute pleasure. Thank you Also, the owners were advising an older couple about the benefits of tumeric and teaching them how to make tumeric tea for health & relaxation ~ this was a pleasure to witness. Says so much about community and helping others. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10
