I’ve visited this Lowe’s Foods location at least twice, and there are definitely some positives. They do a great job with the seasonal displays outside the store and the displays right as you enter the supermarket. My last visit was around Easter. The store is generally clean and well stocked. I did noticed several items out of place during my visit. For example, there was an unattended step stool left in an aisle, and bags of dog food were sitting in shopping carts in the egg and frozen food aisle. That just didn’t make sense. Another concern was checkout. This is the second time I’ve had challenges at checkout at this location. During this visit, the self-checkout machine had a sign warning customers not to pull the receipt paper too hard, yet the paper still came apart with minimal pulling. It seems like someone should proactively fix that issue instead of relying on a warning sign. Also when I was having a challenge with the self checkout, two staff members were standing nearby having a conversation. When I motioned for help, one employee — who appeared to be a supervisor — gestured for someone else to assist me instead of stepping in herself. Supervisors should be willing to help customers directly when needed. Overall, the store has potential and does many things well, but customer service and checkout operations need improvement.

Very clean environment. Fresh fruits and meat. A large variety of household items. Fresh flowers. Nice customers attention.

I had a very disappointing first impression at this Lowes Foods location, specifically regarding their floral department. Despite having zero bouquets available in the shop, the store was still actively accepting orders for them online/through third-party apps. When I attempted to get clarification on the situation so I could update my own customers, the staff was dismissive and unapologetic. I asked an associate if there was an inventory issue, only to receive a curt 'sure' without any further explanation or effort to resolve the discrepancy. This lack of communication resulted in me sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes canceling five separate orders, only for the system to remain un-updated and send me another bouquet request immediately after. The incompetence of the system combined with the rude demeanor of the staff is unacceptable. If you are depending on this floral department for time-sensitive orders, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
